How to Sing Good ConsistentlyI think we've all tried to sing as best as we could in our own privacy, only to hear something come out that sounded pretty good. It may have only last a few seconds, like I personally experienced, but I did hear something good. My voice cracked immediately after that, but it showed me that there was the potential for a great sounding voice and that I needed to know how to sing good consistently, so I could sing an entire song and sound good the whole time that I'm doing it. Great singers are people that we admire and that we think are above us. I remember thinking that there was no possible way that I could sing that good. But that's only half the picture. Seeing someone on a stage giving the performance of their life really only tells you one thing… what they're like right now. Most musicians and singers had to work hard their entire life to get where they are. They took singing lessons and did singing exercises just about every day that they worked.
How to Sing Very GoodIn your quest to learn how to sing good you're going to face many challenges. Some days you're going to think that you're doing an amazing job, while other days you're going to think that you have gone a few steps back. This is all normal. This is a process that you have to take step by step. Each person will have a different journey that will get them to the amazing singing voice that they want. The key here is to keep working at it every day because that is what will help you the most. A book that you really should pick up is "Raise Your Voice" (2nd Edition) by James J. Vendera. The best way that I can describe Vendera is that he's like the Anthony Robbins of singing. He's going to make you feel really good about your singing and help you transform it into something that you can appreciate it. This is by far the most empowering way for you to learn how to sing good and learn how you can do it consistently. The reason that this book is so popular is the fact that it has many different people that have contributed the advice within it. For example, it has the advice of voice choices like Brett Manning, Mark Baxter, Melissa Cross, Jeannie Deva, etc and has some rock singers like Myles Kennedy, Jim Gillette, James Labrie, Tony Harnell and much much more. You're soon going to learn that the key to learning how to sing good consistently comes down to your ability to control your breathing because that really is all that singing is. You have air moving through your body and being able to control that air is the key to controlling the way it sounds. This is all very important stuff, so I hope you take it seriously and pick up this book. |
